Asymptotics for Weighted Random Sums
Let $\{X_i\}$ be a sequence of independent identically distributed random variables with an intermediate regularly varying (IR) right tail $\bar{F}$. Let $(N, C_1, ..., C_N)$ be a nonnegative random vector independent of the $\{X_i\}$ with $N \in \mathbb{

Exact Results for the Distribution of Randomly Weighted Sums
Dependent random variables play a crucial role in various fields, from finance and statistics to engineering and environmental sciences. Often, interest lies in understanding the aggregate sum of a collection of dependent variables with random weights. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive study of the distribution of the aggregate sum with random ...

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

HYPA: Efficient Detection of Path Anomalies in Time Series Data on Networks
The unsupervised detection of anomalies in time series data has important applications in user behavioral modeling, fraud detection, and cybersecurity. Anomaly detection has, in fact, been extensively studied in categorical sequences.

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...
