Bioinspired Soft‐Skeleton Robotics With Cooperative Shape Transformation and Stiffness Adaptation
A bioinspired soft‐skeleton robot that integrates variable‐stiffness chain skeletons into a soft textile skin is developed. The chain skeletons are highly flexible initially but can stiffen upon pneumatic actuation, enabling large deformation and enhanced load‐bearing capacity.

Association of Range of Motion Deficit and Recurrence of Pain After Treatment of Adhesive Capsulitis
Introduction We evaluated the factors influencing the duration of significant pain reduction after conservative management for adhesive capsulitis (AC). Methods Follow-up for 6–8 months was performed with 141 patients with AC who experienced significant ...

In a lumbar spine instability model, dorsal root ganglion cells mediate the perception of relevant mechanical stresses through Piezo2 and subsequently release CGRP. CGRP activates the NF‐κB signaling pathway in cartilage endplate cells through the receptor RAMP1.

An in vivo improvement of range of motion in shoulder contractures with relaxin in animal models [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Arthrofibrosis, which occurs in a substantial portion of the population, is a pathologic accumulation of scar tissue that presents in patients as a painful decrease in joint range of motion.

Model of circNrip1 (cNrip1) upregulation driving neuropathic pain mechanisms. After peripheral nerve injury, increased FUS triggers the formation and upregulation of cNrip1 in injured DRG neurons. Upregulated cNrip1 recruits SYNCRIP to the 3′‐UTR of Tlr2 mRNA by binding to both, thereby promoting SYNCRIP‐triggered Tlr2 mRNA stability and increasing ...

Plate fixation of extra-articular fractures of the proximal phalanx: do new implants cause less problems? [PDF]
BACKGROUND Limited range of finger motion is a frequent complication after plate fixation of phalangeal fractures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of plate fixation of extra-articular fractures of the proximal phalanx using ...
