Normal Values for Cervical Range of Motion
Spine, 2014Cohort study. To generate normal values for active range of motion (ACROM) of the cervical spine in asymptomatic persons. There is a lack of normal values for ACROM based on large groups and stratified for different age categories.Four hundred asymptomatic persons were included, 100 for each decade of age from 20 years to 60 years and in each subgroup 50

Anatomy Related to the Range of Motion
2015The pathophysiology of frozen shoulder is defined by thickening and contracture of the glenohumeral ligaments. Contracture of particular anatomic portions of the capsule and capsular reflections leads to predictable decreases in shoulder range of motion. In turn, these restrictions alter the kinematics of the surrounding musculature and limb girdle.
