Performance evaluation of geocell-reinforced reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) bases in flexible pavements

International Journal of Pavement Engineering, 2019
Reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) materials have been considered as one of the most sustainable options in the pavement industry. However, the low shear strength and high permanent deformation behaviour of RAP materials often limit their application in ...

Geography of American rap: rap diffusion and rap centers

GeoJournal, 2015
The goal of this paper was to contribute to the interdisciplinary research that linked place and music by conducting a brief geography of rap. Rap music grew from the isolated Bronx in the 1970s and became a mainstay in popular culture today. Hip hop music was noted for its strong sense of place, as rap credibility (what ‘hood do you represented ...

The Rap on the RAPS

The Review of Asset Pricing Studies, 2013
The Review of Asset Pricing Studies (the RAPS) is ending its third year as a publishing journal, and now is a good time to talk about how we are doing and to review the state of our new journal. We are doing well. You, our authors, are submitting high quality papers, and you, our referees, are writing high quality reviews.

„Raps“

Poetica, 2020
Abstract The recent controversy about the possibility of defining a new geological era called ‘Anthropocene’ has far-ranging consequences. The new notion forces us to rethink the dichotomy between the entities formerly referred to as men and nature and to conceive of their relation as an interrelation. The relevance of these considerations for literary

RAP

Proceedings of the May 19-22, 1975, national computer conference and exposition on - AFIPS '75, 1975
Recent concepts in data base management systems (DBMS) necessitate making the logical view and the physical representation of data distinct from each other. Currently, this requirement has to be realized in the environment of conventional Von Neumann architecture.

Laboratory study of the effect of oil-based recycling agents on high RAP asphalt mixtures

, 2019
Environmental issues and high prices of bitumen justify the use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) as a raw material in asphalt production. However, the high stiffness of the aged bitumen in RAP material often causes different problems such as lower ...

Effect of RAP Source on Cracking Resistance of Asphalt Mixtures with High RAP Contents

Journal of materials in civil engineering, 2019
This paper summarizes the results of a research study that used microscale and macroscale tests to examine the effects of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) source and RAP percentage on the c...

Comparing the effects of waste engine and cooking oil on the properties of asphalt concrete containing reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP)

International Journal on Road Materials and Pavement Design, 2018
The effects of using waste engine oil (WEO) and waste cooking oil (WCO) as rejuvenators on some engineering properties of asphalt concrete containing reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) have been studied.

Effect of rejuvenator addition location in plant on mechanical and chemical properties of RAP binder

International Journal of Pavement Engineering, 2018
Rejuvenators can restore the reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) binder for another service period. To achieve this, homogeneous distribution of rejuvenator and good diffusion into reclaimed asphalt binder film has to be ensured.

RAP

The Fourth International Conference on Heterogeneous Networking for Quality, Reliability, Security and Robustness & Workshops, 2007
We first give a comprehensive taxonomy of rouge access points (APs), which includes a new class of rouge APs never addressed in the literature before. Then, we propose an efficient rogue AP protection system termed as RAP for commodity Wi-Fi networks. In RAP, novel techniques are introduced to detect rouge APs and to improve network resilience.
