Molecular Typing of Bacillus thuringiensis Serovars by RAPD-PCR
Systematic and Applied Microbiology, 2003One hundred and twenty-six strains of Bacillus thuringiensis representing 57 serovars were allocated to 58 genomic types using random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD)-PCR patterns. Serovars darmstadiensis, israelensis, kenyae, kumamotoensis, kurstaki, morrisoni, pakistani, sotto, thuringiensis and tolworthi each encompassed identical or closely related

Comparison of Serpula lacrymans isolates using RAPD PCR
Mycological Research, 1995Four isolates of Serpula lacrymans from Australia and one from each of Germany, Japan and Poland were examined for their similarity to the reference isolate FPRL 12C (from England) by RAPD PCR. Results were compared with those published by others using SDS-PAGE and found to be similar.

RAPD–PCR Analysis of Genetic Diversity in the Manchurian Pheasant
Russian Journal of Genetics, 2002The genetic diversity of a local population of the Manchurian pheasant Phasianus colchicus pallasi was studied using RAPD-PCR. Based on the DNA patterns obtained in PCR with five arbitrary decanucleotide primers, we assessed genetic polymorphism of this population, estimated genetic distances between individuals, and constructed an NJ phylogenetic tree,

Identification of Plant Food Raw Material by RAPD-PCR: Legumes
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2002Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) profiles were used to differentiate between several food and feed legume species. Template DNA was extracted from 63 seed meal samples representing 27 legume species (common, scarlet runner, lima, moth, and adzuki beans; broadbeans; soybeans; swordbeans; jackbeans; Florida velvetbeans; common, pigeon, and broad ...

Varijabilnost crvene djeteline procjenjena RAPD-PCR metodom
2003Poznavanje genetske osnove svojstva i analiza genetske varijabilnosti selekcijskog materijala omogućuje oplemenjivaču da iz dostupne germplazme izabere materijal s kojim će najbrže i najracionalnije ostvariti cilj programa. Kultivari crvene djeteline su heterogene populacije individua uglavnom razvijene masovnom selekcijom.

2015The results of reamplification of flax DNA with random primers are represented. It was shown that eight of 17 decameric primers used in the experiments had an reamplification effect: the intensity of the bands increased; new bands and/or new polymorphic bands appeared in the gel sample.
