Beyond Treatment: The Strategy of Nonintervention in Choroidal Hemangioma

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT The circumscribed choroidal hemangioma (CCH) is a benign congenital eye tumor whose etiology is not clear. A 41‐year‐old female patient came with a 2‐year history of slowly progressive deteriorating vision in her right eye. In the left eye, the best‐corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 6/6, and counting fingers at 1 m in the right eye.

Phylogenetic History and Adaptation Mechanisms of Casuarina equisetifolia Landraces in China

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 1, January 2026.
Genetic analysis revealed that Chinese Casuarina equisetifolia landraces exhibit structures similar to Southeast Asian populations but also show evidence of hybridization with C. glauca. The study detected genomic variations linked to pathogen interactions along migration pathways and identified integrated adaptive signals in hybrids, including traits ...

Development and Validation of Multivariable Machine‐Learning Models for the Prediction of Multisystemic Inflammatory Syndrome Outcomes in Latin American Children

open access: yesActa Paediatrica, Volume 115, Issue 1, Page 133-145, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim We aimed to develop and test machine learning algorithms for the prediction of severe outcomes associated with MIS‐C. Method An observational ambispective cohort study was conducted including children aged from 1 month to 18 years old in 84 hospitals from the REKAMLATINA (Red de la Enfermedad de Kawasaki en America Latina) network ...

Change of bacterial community structure acclimated by nitrobenzene-containing wastewater(硝基苯废水驯化过程中细菌群落结构的变化)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2010

Identification of olive (Olea europaea L.) cultivars by molecular markers

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Slovenica, 2001
RAPD markers were applied to assess molecular polymorphisms within olive cultivars held in a collection orchard and to develop a system of a minimum number of primers for cultivar identification.

Novel Microsatellite Markers Reveal Evidence of Sexual Reproduction in Dematophora necatrix Populations From South African Avocado Orchards

open access: yesPlant Pathology, Volume 75, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
The study reveals the presence of sexual reproduction in Dematophora necatrix populations from South African avocado orchards through the development of novel microsatellite markers. This finding enhances the understanding of genetic diversity and population structure within these populations, emphasising the significance of alleles and genotype ...

Study of European and Czech populations of potato cyst nematodes (Globodera rostochiensis and G. pallida) by RAPD method

open access: yesPlant, Soil and Environment, 2004
Potato cyst nematodes (PCN) are the big problem in worldwide planting of potatoes and another Solanaceous plants. Identification of individual pathotypes according to international scheme is very demanding but a very important part of the phytosanitary ...
