Primer Mixtures in RAPD Analysis [PDF]
RAPD (random amplified polymorphic DNA) is a multiplex marker system that conventionally uses single-primer PCR to amplify random DNA fragments. Because of its multiplex nature, it is frequently used in bulked segregant analysis (BSA). In view of the very large numbers of markers BSA often requires, we investigated the use of mixtures of primers as a ...

Emphasized-RAPD (e-RAPD): A Simple and Efficient Technique to Make RAPD Bands Clearer.
The random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique has been used widely for purposes such as the construction of linkage maps, QTL analysis, evaluation of genetic diversity, and parentage tests. However, some minor bands of RAPD display a low reproducibility and low reliability.

DNA from 27 Acer species was used for RAPD analysis. A relatively high number of phylogenically informative polymorphisms were detected, as would be expected in intraspecific comparisons. Principle coordinates analysis was used to discern groupings among the species and a RAPD-based phylogeny was constructed.

Molecular markers. Random amplified polymorphic DNA [PDF]
Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPDs) markers are based on the amplification by PCR reaction of random genomic DNA segments determined by single primer consisting of about 10 arbitrary nucleotides. The primer amplifies DNA sequences in length of 0,2-2

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to synthesize evidence on the influence of Enterococcus faecalis on endodontic treatment failure and strategies for its elimination. This study followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and was registered in PROSPERO (CRD420251022741).
