A linkage map of spring turnip rape based on RFLP and HARD markers
A linkage map of spring turnip rape (Brassica rapa ssp. oleifera) was conslructed from an F2 population of a cross Jo4002 x Sv3402. The map contained 22 RFLP loci, 144 RAPDs, one microsatellite, and one morphological marker (seed colour).

DNA polymorphism of schistosomes and their snail hosts
Analysis of the genomes of schistosomes and one of their intermediate hosts, Biomphalaria glabrata, using Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) demonstrated that intraspecific genetic polymorphism in the parasite is limited but in the snail is highly ...

Zebrafish illustrates how polygenic sex determination, maternal germline bottlenecks, and a structurally restless genome jointly destabilize deep homozygosity. These interlocking constraints make fully isogenic zebrafish lines effectively unattainable, turning this model into a natural “stress test” for assumptions about genetic background and ...

Pseudotumor Cerebri Syndrome and Essential Thrombocythemia: A Case Report
ABSTRACT Pseudotumor cerebri syndrome (PTCS) is characterized by elevated intracranial pressure in the absence of intracranial mass lesions, structural abnormalities, or infectious conditions. Although the exact pathogenesis of PTCS remains largely elusive, it is increasingly recognized as a multifactorial condition.

DNA Fingerprinting of Jute Germplasm by RAPD
The genotype characteristic of cultivars was investigated, along with varieties of both of the jute species, Corchorus olitorius and Corchorus capsularis, in the germplasm collection at the Bangladesh Jute Research Institute (BJRI). DNA fingerprinting was generated for 9 different varieties and 12 accessions of jute cultivars by using random amplified ...
