Numerical study of multi-dimensional effects in Rapid Compression Machines
Due to the increasingly stringent regulations in terms of pollutant emissions, and to the urgent need to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions, novel combustion techniques are developed. They mostly consist in the use of well-mixed and highly diluted mixtures.

A machine learning and simulation‐guided strategy is demonstrated for gentle, non‐sonication dispersion of carbon nanotubes, preserving structural integrity and performance. This approach enables transparent conductive films with low sheet resistance, high transmittance, and sub‐20 µm printability.

Photothermal, macroporous lignin‐based cryogels are engineered to convert sunlight into low‐grade heat. Integrated as stacked beds in a drum‐type device, a thin copper interlayer transfers waste heat between beds, enabling interlayer heat recovery and continuous solar cycling.

Upcycling of Disposable Face Masks into Water‐Resistant and Flame Retardant Foams
Disposable mask waste is upcycled into lightweight polypropylene‐based foams with tunable porosity and composite architectures reinforced by ear‐loop fibers. The sustainable solvent‐based process enables upcycling rates of 91% and solvent recovery of >90%.
