Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Different Caries Removal Methods in Primary Teeth With Micro‐Computed Tomography and Scanning Electron Microscopy–Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy of X‐Ray

open access: yesMicroscopy Research and Technique, Volume 88, Issue 9, Page 2482-2491, September 2025.
The removal of the material effects was tested for its bone mineral density and Elemental analysis using SEM. ABSTRACT This study evaluated the effectiveness of conventional rotary instruments (CRI), atraumatic restorative treatment (ART), and the BRIX‐3000 chemomechanical caries removal gel by measuring bone mineral density (BMD) and mineral ...

Nasal Mucosa Regeneration After Reboot Surgery: Electron Microscopy and Histology Insights in CRSwNP

open access: yesThe Laryngoscope, Volume 135, Issue 9, Page 3082-3092, September 2025.
CRSwNP often requires multiple treatments, with monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and endoscopic sinus surgeries used to manage resistant cases. This study focused on five patients undergoing reboot surgery, analyzing mucosal regeneration through biopsies and clinical outcomes over 24 months. It revealed complete non‐scarred regeneration of the nasal mucosa,

Radial Mandibular Coronoidectomy in a Basset Hound as a Treatment for Temporomandibular Joint Dysplasia

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 5, September 2025.
A one‐year‐old Basset Hound presented with recurrent open‐mouth locking episodes and was diagnosed with temporomandibular joint dysplasia. Two‐position CT imaging was performed and guided surgical planning for partial mandibular coronoidectomy using a radial TPLO saw blade.

Impact of Life History on Hippopotamus Skull Ontogeny

open access: yesEvolution &Development, Volume 27, Issue 3, September 2025.
Main life‐history events and traits of the hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius) and its skeletal and craniomandibular developmental processes. The major skull changes in infancy (0–3 years) and puberty (10–15 years) and the late stabilization (20–25 years) of the mandibular shape with respect to the cranial shape stand out.

Enhancing Esthetics With Digital Dentistry: A 2‐Year Follow‐Up of 3D‐Printed Restorations

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Volume 37, Issue 9, Page 2050-2059, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Esthetics are a common motivation for dental treatments, with veneers, both direct and indirect, being popular restorative options. Technological advancements, particularly in additive manufacturing (3D printing), have streamlined results. In dentistry, 3D printing is used to fabricate restorations ranging from simple inlays to complex crowns ...

An Off‐the‐Shelf Artificial Blood Clot Hydrogel Neutralizing Multiple Proinflammatory Mediators for Pro‐Regenerative Periodontitis Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 31, August 21, 2025.
CCS‐RSF@PRP hydrogel is engineered to structurally and functionally mimic the blood clot by integrating PPR, CCS, and RSF nanofibers through in situ activation of PRP. In a rat periodontitis model, CCS‐RSF@PRP hydrogel effectively promotes periodontal tissue repair, attributing to neutralizing the multiple proinflammatory mediators, thus rebuilding a ...
