A cholesterol‐conjugated lipid library enabled the identification of a ligand‐free LNP platform for efficient mRNA delivery to brain endothelial cells via systemic administration. This platform achieves selective BBB targeting without disrupting barrier integrity, and enables modulation of neuroinflammation and vascular function without requiring trans‐

Aqueous ammonium‐ion batteries (AAIBs) face a hydrogen‐bond paradox: the HB network enables fast NH4+ transport but triggers water decomposition. This review dissects this dilemma, evaluates multiple electrolyte engineering strategies, and outlines four future directions for next‐generation AAIB design ABSTRACT Aqueous ammonium‐ion batteries (AAIBs ...

Multi‐Biomimetic Structural Colors Inspired by Pearls and Bird Feathers
A dual‐biomimetic strategy mimicking pearls and bird feathers is proposed to construct full‐gamut structural colors. By integrating a non‐strictly periodic inorganic multilayer architecture with tunable light absorbers, this facile approach circumvents the complex fabrication of traditional 1D photonic crystals, offering immense potential for cosmetics,

Pregnancy and rare bleeding disorders
Haemophilia, 2009Summary. Rare bleeding disorders include deficiency of fibrinogen, prothrombin, factor V, factor VII, factor X, factor XI and factor XIII together with combined deficiency disorders, factor V+VIII deficiency, and deficiency of the vitamin K‐dependent factors (factor II, VII, IX and X). They account for 3–5% of all inherited coagulation disorders.

Summary. During the haemostatic response, the formation of a primary platelet plug limits bleeding and provides a surface for clotting factors to assemble and become activated. The initial platelet plug is stabilized by fibrin monomers, covalently cross‐linked by FXIII, forming a platelets‐fibrin thrombus.
