Coexistence and competition of multiple charge-density-wave orders in rare-earth tri-telluride RTe3
The occurrences of collective quantum states, such as superconductivity (SC) and charge- or spin-densitywaves (CDWs or SDWs), are among the most fascinating phenomena in solids. To date much effort has been made to explore the interplay between different

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Superconductivity at about 15.6 K was achieved in Tb_{1-x}Ca_xFeAsO by partially substituting Tb^{3+} with Ca^{2+} in the nominal doping region x = 0.40 \sim 0.50. A detailed investigation was carried out in a typical sample with doping level of x = 0.44.

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Quantitative analysis of rare earth elements in Mg–Zn–RE(Ce, Y, Gd)–Zr alloy
The solid solution amount of rare earth elements and the mass fraction of compounds were measured by low-temperature phase separation technology, the existing forms of rare earth elements in ZK-RE(Ce, Y, Gd) alloy were quantitatively studied, and the ...

Bending properties and failure mechanism of fiber rare earth magnesium alloy super hybrid laminates
The fiber metal laminate is mainly used in the fuselage wall board, wing skin and other key parts of the aircraft. The structural parts mentioned above bear a large bending moment during the service, which requires that the fiber metal laminate should ...

Electronic Structure and Magnetic Properties of $\beta$-Ti$_{6}$Sn$_{5}$
The electronic structure of $\beta$-Ti$_{6}$Sn$_{5}$ has been studied based on the density functional theory within the local-density approximation. The calculation indicates that $\beta$-Ti$_{6}$Sn$_{5}$ is very close to ferromagnetic instability and ...
