Case Report: Clear Cell Odontogenic Carcinoma: A Rarity

Background: Clear odontogenic carcinoma is an unusual tumor in the buccal cavity, mandible or maxilla. There is slight female preponderance and the peak age of occurance is in the 6th and 7th decades of life. It shows loco-regional and distant metastasis thereby resulting to great challenges in diagnosis and treatment.

Absence/rarity of commonly reported LRRK2 mutations in Indian Parkinson's disease patients

Recent discovery of pathogenic mutations in the leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) gene in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients in different ethnic groups have raised a hope of diagnostic screening and genetic counseling. We investigated the six most commonly reported mutations in LRRK2 gene among Indian PD patients, using PCR-RFLP method.

Uterine sacculation: myth, reality or rarity--a case report.

A rare case of uterine sacculation is reported. This case illustrates the difficulties in arriving at a diagnosis of uterine sacculation due to the obscure clinical presentation. The initial working diagnosis in this young nulliparous woman was intra-uterine foetal death but after a failed induction the diagnosis was re-evaluated. The correct diagnosis
