Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.The genomics of European frogs of the genus Pelophylax are intriguing due to their propensity to hybridise, the prevalence of polyploidy, and the unusual hemiclonal hybridogenetic complexes formed in many populations.
