Subcarrier and Power Allocation for LDS-OFDM System [PDF]
Low Density Signature-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (LDS-OFDM) has been introduced recently as an efficient multiple access technique. In this paper, we focus on the subcarrier and power allocation scheme for uplink LDS-OFDM system.

Improved Convergence Rates for Distributed Resource Allocation [PDF]
In this paper, we develop a class of decentralized algorithms for solving a convex resource allocation problem in a network of $n$ agents, where the agent objectives are decoupled while the resource constraints are coupled. The agents communicate over a connected undirected graph, and they want to collaboratively determine a solution to the overall ...

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

A combinatorial approximation algorithm for CDMA downlink rate allocation [PDF]
This paper presents a combinatorial algorithm for downlink rate allocation in Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) mobile networks. By discretizing the coverage area into small segments, the transmit power requirements are characterized via a matrix ...

A distributed algorithm for wireless resource allocation using coalitions and the Nash bargaining solution [PDF]
In this paper a distributed, low-complexity, fast and fair resource allocation algorithm for a multiuser, wireless LTE OFDMA channel is proposed. Based on the game theoretic concept of the Nash Bargaining Solution and by grouping users into coalitions of

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

On Resource Allocation in Fading Multiple Access Channels - An Efficient Approximate Projection Approach [PDF]
We consider the problem of rate and power allocation in a multiple-access channel. Our objective is to obtain rate and power allocation policies that maximize a general concave utility function of average transmission rates on the information theoretic ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

A Rate-Splitting Based Bound-Approaching Transmission Scheme for the Two-User Symmetric Gaussian Interference Channel with Common Messages [PDF]
This paper is concerned with a rate-splitting based transmission strategy for the two-user symmetric Gaussian interference channel that contains common messages only.
