Saturation rates of filtered back projection approximations [PDF]
AbstractThis paper concerns the approximation of bivariate functions by using the well-known filtered back projection (FBP) formula from computerized tomography. We prove error estimates and convergence rates for the FBP approximation of target functions from Sobolev spaces $$\mathrm H^\alpha ({\mathbb {R}}^2)$$Hα(R2) of fractional order $$\alpha >0$

ABSTRACT A second allogeneic (allo‐)hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT2) is a potential curative option for pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) following relapse after first allogeneic transplantation (HSCT1), but its efficacy is limited by high relapse rates and transplant‐related toxicity in highly pretreated ...

Storage Capacity as an Information-Theoretic Vertex Cover and the Index Coding Rate
Motivated by applications in distributed storage, the storage capacity of a graph was recently defined to be the maximum amount of information that can be stored across the vertices of a graph such that the information at any vertex can be recovered from

Approximation of unbiased convex classification error rate estimator
Convex classification error rate estimator is described as weighted combination of the low-biased estimator and the high-biased estimator. If the underlying data model is known, the coefficients (weights) can be optimized so that the bias and root-mean-square error of the estimator is minimized. However, in most situations, data model is unknown.

Inverse results of approximation and the saturation order for the sampling Kantorovich series
In the present paper, we study the saturation order for the sampling Kantorovich series in the space of uniformly continuous and bounded functions.

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

Convergence Rates of Padé and Padé-Type Approximants
Let \(f\) be holomorphic at \(\infty\) with \(f(\infty)= 0\), and let the polynomials \(p_n\), \(q_n\) and \(P_n\), \(Q_n\) of degree \(\leq n\) be so chosen that \[ q_n(z) f(z)- p_n(z)= {\mathcal O}(z^{- n- 1})\quad\text{and}\quad Q_n(z) f(z)- P_n(z)= {\mathcal O}(z^{- 1})\;(z\to \infty).

ABSTRACT Background Osteonecrosis (ON) is a debilitating complication of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) therapy. While numerous studies have explored its incidence and associated risk factors, investigations using large‐scale cohorts remain important to characterize ON across heterogeneous populations.
