Enhancing Frequency Control Through Rate of Change of Voltage Feedback [PDF]
This letter proposes a simple and inexpensive technique to improve the frequency control of distributed energy resources. The proposed control consists in modifying the conventional estimated bus frequency signal with an additional feedback signal that utilizes the rate of change of the voltage magnitude measured at the same bus.

Adaptive active frequency support strategy for receiving-end MMC-HVDC stations based on rate of change of frequency [PDF]
As the proportion of HVDC infeed power increases in the eastern receiving-end power grid, inertia and frequency regulation capability decrease. Utilizing modular multilevel converter (MMC) stations at the receiving-end to provide active frequency support

Using satellite data to assess management frequency and rate of regeneration on heather moorlands in England as a resilience indicator [PDF]
Peatland resilience, defined here as the rate of recovery from perturbation, is crucial to our understanding of the impacts of climate change and land management on these unique ecosystems.

Measuring the rate of change of voice fundamental frequency in fluent speech during mental depression [PDF]
A method of measuring the rate of change of fundamental frequency has been developed in an effort to find acoustic voice parameters that could be useful in psychiatric research.

Discrimination of nonlinear frequency glides [PDF]
Discrimination thresholds for short duration nonlinear tone glides that differed in glide rate were measured in order to determine whether cues related to rate of frequency change alone were sufficient for discrimination.

Tuning of human modulation filters is carrier-frequency dependent [PDF]
Recent studies employing speech stimuli to investigate 'cocktail-party' listening have focused on entrainment of cortical activity to modulations at syllabic (5 Hz) and phonemic (20 Hz) rates.
