Modeling of rate of change of under frequency relay for microgrid protection
2017 International Electrical Engineering Congress (iEECON), 2017This paper presents the permutation of rate of change of under frequency (ROCOUF) relay to avoid the frequency instability and voltage collapses in microgrid. When some of distributed generators (DGs) in a microgrid are disconnected from the main grid, the system may be imbalance between the power supply and the power demand, resulting in a rapid ...

Rates of change of flutter Mach number and flutter frequency.
AIAA Journal, 1972free" region which he perceives to begin at about 10-15D. This characterization seems a misnomer, in that the shear behaves in a continuous fashion over all x/D studied, as can be seen from Fig. 1. What does happen is that the velocity defect—and hence the mean-flow velocity gradient du/dr—decays to a small value very rapidly.

Detection of differences in rate of frequency change in gliding tones
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1998The purpose of the study was to measure discrimination for glides in frequency, based on discrimination of rate of frequency change. Changes in frequency transition span and duration were eliminated as confounding cues by using signals of equal frequency span and duration that smoothly changed in rate at the half-way point in their duration.

Theoretical Population Biology, 1974
Abstract Two methods (Methods 1 and 2) are used to derive approximate equations describing the rates of change of gene frequency and population growth rate in an age-structured population which is not subject to density-dependent limitation of numbers.

Death rate, recapture frequency and changes in size of tagged eels
Journal of Fish Biology, 1989From 475 eels individually marked with floy tags, of which 180 had an additional spot of alcian blue, 142 tags were recovered during a 2‐year release‐recapture programme, but alcian blue spots were not detected. The marked population declined by c.

Impact of Frequency Change Rate on Instantaneous Flow Parameters in Pipes
2017This work explores the influence of the swept sine constraint on instantaneous flow parameters in a variety of piping systems supplied with pulsating flows, as used for fluid transportation in process plants, in the power and chemical industries, compressed air system, and in automobiles.
