RESEARCH OF ONE VARIANT OF SUBGRADIENT METHOD

open access: yesВестник Кемеровского государственного университета, 2015
The subgradient step selection method based on the known minimal value of function is studied in the paper. The authors show that it is an analogue of the method of minimal errors for solving linear equation systems.

Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.

Understanding and Optimizing Li Substitution in P2‐Type Sodium Layered Oxides for Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

On solution of a nonlocal problem with dynamic boundary conditions for a loaded linear parabolic equation by straight-line methods

open access: yesBulletin of Computational Applied Mathematics, 2017
We consider a nonlocal problem with dynamic boundary conditions for a loaded linear parabolic equation. For this problem we prove the unique solvability in Sobolev's spaces and the maximum principle under some natural conditions.

3D (Bio) Printing Combined Fiber Fabrication Methods for Tissue Engineering Applications: Possibilities and Limitations

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

Using rational logarithmic basis functions to solve singular differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
Numerical methods based on polynomial approximation perform poorly when applied to singular initial value problems (IVPs). Hence, we are motivated to derive and implement numerical methods involving non-polynomial basis functions such as logarithmic ...
