New rate of convergence of series and its application
The existing rate of convergence of series requires a known limit of that series. Direct computation of Brun’s constant as the sum of twin prime reciprocals is challenging as the convergence is agonizingly slow. Here, I introduce the relative increase of

Bézier-Summation-Integral-Type Operators That Include Pólya–Eggenberger Distribution
We define the summation-integral-type operators involving the ideas of Pólya–Eggenberger distribution and Bézier basis functions, and study some of their basic approximation properties. In addition, by means of the Ditzian–Totik modulus of smoothness, we

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

On Rate of Convergence of Jungck-Type Iterative Schemes
We introduce a new iterative scheme called Jungck-CR iterative scheme and study the stability and strong convergence of this iterative scheme for a pair of nonself-mappings using a certain contractive condition.

Estimation of the convergence rate of two-dimensional random index vectors maxima
Nonlinearly normalized maxima of independent and identically distributed random vectors are pre-sented in this work. We’ve obtained nonuniform estimate of convergence in transfer theorem in case when normalization is nonlinear.

At low cell density, SETDB1 and YAP1 accumulate in the nucleus. As cell density increases, the Hippo pathway is gradually activated, and SETDB1 is associated with increased YAP1 phosphorylation. At high cell density, phosphorylated YAP1 is sequestered in the cytoplasm, while SETDB1 becomes polyubiquitinated and degraded by the ubiquitin–proteasome ...

Average convergence rate estimation of clonal selection algorithm
Considering that average convergence rate estimation of clonal selection algorithms is a difficult problem and is still in its infancy, this article researches the convergence rate of an elitist clonal selection algorithm.

A series of sequences convergent to Euler’s constant
In this paper, using continued fraction, we provide a new quicker sequence convergent to Euler’s constant. We demonstrate the superiority of our new convergent sequences over DeTemple’s sequence, Mortici’s sequences, Vernescu’s sequence, and Lu’s ...

Convergence rate of nonlinear switched systems [PDF]
This paper is concerned with the convergence rate of the solutions of nonlinear switched systems. We first consider a switched system which is asymptotically stable for a class of inputs but not for all inputs. We show that solutions corresponding to that class of inputs converge arbitrarily slowly to the origin.

Convergence rates of variational posterior distributions [PDF]
We study convergence rates of variational posterior distributions for nonparametric and high-dimensional inference. We formulate general conditions on prior, likelihood, and variational class that characterize the convergence rates. Under similar "prior mass and testing" conditions considered in the literature, the rate is found to be the sum of two ...
