AGGREGATED RATIO ANALYSIS IN DEA [PDF]

open access: possibleInternational Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making, 2005
This paper proposes an aggregated ratio analysis model which can be utilized to evaluate relative efficiency of decision making units (DMUs). We show that our proposed ratio model is equivalent to the CCR DEA model. This equivalence property offers a great deal of opportunities for DEA to be interpreted and applied in different ways.

Aggregated Ratio Analysis in DEA

International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making, 2015
DEA and ratio analysis are commonly viewed as alternatively effective tools in assessing the performance of different DMUs. Many researches have been developed to reveal their inherent relationship and to explore the integration of both methods as well. In this paper, we first question TheoremĀ 1 by Wu etĀ al.

Variational analysis of the Crouzeix ratio

Mathematical Programming, 2016
Denote by \(\mathcal{M}^n\) the space of \(n\times n\) complex matrices, by \(\mathcal{P}_m\) the space of polynomials with complex coefficients of degree \(\leq m\), by \(\|\,\,.\,\,\|\) the vector or matrix \(2\)-norm, and for \(A\in \mathcal{M}^n\), by \(W(A)\) the numerical range of the matrix \(A\), where \[ W(A)=\{v^*Av\,:\,v\in\mathbb{C}^n,\,\,\|

Recapture ratios in merger analysis

Economics Letters, 2017
Abstract Most quantitative tools for assessing competitive effects of mergers rely heavily on recapture ratios (also known as aggregate diversion ratios). Recapture ratios measure the proportion of customers switching away from a product that is captured by other products within the market rather than outside the market.
