Rational polynomial coefficients generation for high resolution Ziyuan-3 imagery
2017 IEEE 14th International Conference on Networking, Sensing and Control (ICNSC), 2017Sensor model is required to build the relationship between the three-dimensional (3D) object space and two-dimensional (2D) image space of high resolution satellite imagery (HRSI). However, each satellite sensor has its own imaging system with different physical sensor model, which increases the difficulty of geometric integration of heterogeneous ...

Proceedings of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, 2011
The paper under review deals with multiple orthogonal polynomials, which are denominators of a sequence of Hermite-Padé approximants for a system of four functions. This paper is closely related with [\textit{D. V. Khristoforov}, Proc. Steklov Inst. Math. 272, S142--S151; translation from Sovrem. Probl. Mat. 9, 11--26 (2007; Zbl 1308.41014)].

Proceedings of the 2011 International Workshop on Symbolic-Numeric Computation, 2012
In this paper we discuss how to generate inequality invariants for continuous dynamical systems involved in hybrid systems. A hybrid symbolic-numeric algorithm is presented to compute inequality invariants of the given systems, by transforming this problem into a parameterized polynomial optimization problem.

In recent years semideffinite programming (SDP) has become the standard technique for computing sum of squares (SOS) decompositions of nonnegative polynomials. Due to the nature of the underlying methods, the solutions are computed numerically, and thus are never exact. In this paper we present a software package for Macaulay 2, which aims at computing

Nested Regression Based Optimal Selection (NRBOS) of Rational Polynomial Coefficients
Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing, 2014Although the rational function model (RFM) is widely applied in photogrammetry, the application of terrain-dependent RFM is limited because of the requirement for numerous ground control points (GCPs) and the strong correlation between the coefficients.

Estimation of rational polynomial coefficients based on singular value decomposition
Journal of Applied Remote Sensing, 2018The rational function model (RFM) has been widely used in space-borne photogrammetry owing to its simplicity and generality. One of the key issues for using the RFM is to robustly estimate the rational polynomial coefficients (RPCs). However, owing to over-parameterization of the RFM, estimating the RPCs is an ill-posed problem.

Reducible Rational Fractions of the type of Gaussian Polynomials with only Non-Negative Coefficients
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1978The following problem arose in connection with the study of Poincaré polynomials for homogeneous spaces. Letgi hi positive integers and set d = (h1, h1,…, hk), the greatest common divisors of the exponents in the denominator. Let hi = dri and assume that the ri′s are comprime in pairs, i.e.

It is well known that classes of polynomials in one variable defined by various extremality conditions play an extremely important role in complex analysis. Among these classes we find orthogonal polynomials (especially classical orthogonal polynomials expressed as hypergeometric polynomials) and polynomials least deviating from zero on a given ...
