Smooth projective surfaces with pseudo-effective tangent bundles

Let S be a non-uniruled (i.e., non-birationally ruled) smooth projective surface. We show that the tangent bundle Ts is pseudo-effective if and only if the canonical divisor Ks is nef and the second Chern class vanishes, i.e., c2 (S) = 0.

An Integrated DNA Nanoprobe for Intranuclear Imaging and in Situ Profiling of OGG1 Activity

The TP‐SA nanoprobe, integrating an AS1411 aptamer for nuclear delivery and a FRET array for signal amplification, enables real‐time tracking of nuclear OGG1 activity. It reveals cell‐line‐specific basal OGG1 levels and shows clinical promise using pneumonia patients’ lavage fluid.

Open‐shell type radical anions with stable doublet emission have been synthesized that feature aromaticity engineering, through‐space charge‐transfer (TSCT), and electro(fluoro)chromism. ABSTRACT We report the doublet emissive open‐shell radical anions, where the N‐annulated perylene diimide (PDIN–H) is functionalized with aromatic rings.

The fundamental nature of anion storage in p‐type organic cathodes is elucidated using rigid poly(arylamine) frameworks. This study reveals a hybrid covalent‐ionic mechanism for anion‐π+ interactions, driven by synergistic orbital hybridization and electrostatic attraction.
