Data‐Driven Materials Science for Energy‐Sustainable Applications
Data‐driven approaches powered by artificial intelligence are transforming materials discovery for energy sustainability. This review examines how auto‐generated high‐quality materials databases and domain‐specific language models accelerate research in photovoltaics, thermoelectrics, batteries and magnetic materials. Applications involve extraction of

Computing the symmetries of a ruled rational surface
We present a method for computing all the symmetries of a rational ruled surface defined by a rational parametrization which works directly in parametric rational form, i.e. without computing or making use of the implicit equation of the surface. The method proceeds by translating the problem into the parameter space, and relies on polynomial system ...

Programmable Functional Silicification of DNA Origami Nanostructures
This work introduces additional functionality into silica‐coated DNA origami nanostructures using non‐standard silica precursors. A fluorescent precursor enables enhanced intracellular tracking, while a disulfide‐containing reagent yields redox‐responsive, degradable silica coatings.

Sustainable and Multifunctional Natural Macromolecular Polymers for Aqueous Zn Metal Batteries
We comprehensively review the structure‐function relationships and regulatory mechanism of natural macromolecular polymers in stabilizing zinc anodes at the microscopic and mesoscopic scales. The interactions among polymer structures, optimization strategies, and regulatory mechanisms are discussed systematically summarizing recent related research ...

Electrolyte Design for Fast‐Charging Lithium‐Based Batteries
A decade of progress in fast‐charging electrolytes for lithium batteries is reviewed. Electrolyte design strategies spanning solvents, salts, additives, and advanced systems, such as localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs), are summarized. Advanced diagnostic tools for lithium plating and interphase chemistry are discussed, with perspectives ...

Intersections numbers on the compact variety of rational ruled surfaces [PDF]
We consider the Quot scheme, R_{d}, compactifying the space of degree d maps from the projective line to the Grassmannian of lines. We give an algorithm for computing the degree of R_{d} under a "generalized Plücker embedding", this is a certain Gromov-Witten invariant. The approach is to apply the Atiyah-Bott localization formula for the natural C^{*}-

Enumerative formulae for ruled cubic surfaces and rational quintic curves
For varieties in \({\mathbb{P}}^ 3\), the classical enumerative geometers obtained their results for curves of degree \(\leq 4\) and surfaces of degree \(\leq 2.\) Here the program is continued with new results about ruled cubic surfaces and rational quintic curves.

A circular upcycling strategy transforms waste poly(ethylene terephthalate) bottles into microwave‐responsive Ni@C catalyst featuring lattice‐distorted nickel cores and defective carbon shells. These strain‐rich heterointerfaces enhance dielectric loss and promote localized microwave hotspots, accelerating peroxymonosulfate activation and polymer‐chain

The degree of the variety of rational ruled surfaces and Gromov-Witten invariants [PDF]
We compute the degree of the variety parametrizing rational ruled surfaces of degree d in the projective space by relating the problem to Gromov-Witten invariants and Quantum cohomology.

For the first time, we shed light on the surface‐to‐bulk diffusion, induction, and reaction behaviors of OH−, H+, and H2O species on model oxides for alkaline hydrogen‐evolving reaction (HER). We first demonstrate that bulk OH− diffusion significantly affects the generation of proton sources and the diffusion/reaction behaviors of protons, thus ...
