Rational Interpolation: Analytical Solution

Siberian Mathematical Journal, 2001
Summary: The classical problem of interpolation by rational functions is well known to be reduced to a system of linear algebraic equations, but the resultant system is usually complicated for qualitative analysis and numerical implementation. We propose a new approach which generalizes the polynomial interpolation to the rational interpolation both in

RATIONAL SOLUTIONS OF THE BOUSSINESQ EQUATION

Analysis and Applications, 2008
Rational solutions of the Boussinesq equation are expressed in terms of special polynomials associated with rational solutions of the second and fourth Painlevé equations, which arise as symmetry reductions of the Boussinesq equation. Further generalized rational solutions of the Boussinesq equation, which involve an infinite number of arbitrary ...

Rational Solutions of Painlevé Equations

Studies in Applied Mathematics, 1979
With Bäcklund transformations, we construct explicit solutions of Painlevé equations 2 and 4. Independently, we find solutions of degenerate cases of equations 3 and 5. The six Painlevé transcendents are referred to as 1–6.

On Rational Solutions of Pseudo-linear Systems

2021
We develop a new algorithm for computing rational solutions of partial pseudo-linear systems. The algorithm uses a recursive process based on the computation of rational solutions for a sole pseudo-linear system. Using the general setting of pseudo-linear algebra, we revisit the computation of rational solutions for a pseudo-linear system.

Rational solutions of singular linear systems

Proceedings of the 2000 international symposium on Symbolic and algebraic computation, 2000
A deterministic algorithm is presented for computing a particular solution to a linear system of equations with polynomial coefficients. Given an A ∈ F[x]n × m and b ∈ F[x]n, where F is a field, the algorithm will either return a particular solution v ∈ F(x)m to the system Av = b or determine that the system is inconsistent.

Is a Rational Solution Possible?

Society, 2010
The debate about immigration reform, like many other critical ones in America today, cannot be resolved just by providing common sense suggestions for compromises. A substantial number of whites fear immigrants in general, not just illegal ones, and blame them for America’s economic and social problems.

Solutions of multivariate Rational Expectations Models

Econometric Theory, 1995
The aim of this paper is the study of the path solutions of a multivariate rational expectations model. We describe several procedures for solving such dynamic systems based on either the adjoint operator method or the Smith form. As a by-product, we derive the dimension of the set of solutions in terms of martingale differences and the dimension of ...
