Construction new rational cubic spline with application in shape preservations
This study considers the construction a new C 1 rational cubic spline (cubic numerator and quadratic denominator) with three parameters. Some mathematical properties of this rational function will be investigated in details.

This study presents improvements to the non‐hydrostatic version of the European Centre for Medium‐Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Integrated Forecasting System (IFS), enabling stable global simulations at 1.4‐km resolution. A systematic comparison with the hydrostatic version at resolutions from 9 to 1.4 km shows that non‐hydrostatic effects emerge in ...

Numerical Solutions of Matrix Differential Models using Cubic Matrix Splines II
This paper presents the non-linear generalization of a previous work on matrix differential models. It focusses on the construction of approximate solutions of first-order matrix differential equations Y'(x)=f(x,Y(x)) using matrix-cubic splines.

Vector Field‐Based Collision‐Free Navigation in Tunnel‐Like Environments
ABSTRACT Tunnel‐like environments, renowned for their vast scale, confined spaces, and limited visibility, present significant challenges for autonomous robot navigation. This study addresses the critical issue of guiding robots through such environments while ensuring collision‐free navigation and maintaining a specified safety margin from both tunnel

Smooth joining of spline curves ensuring a high order of smoothness
Smoothly blending two curves is one of the fundamental and complex problems of geometric modeling in computer-aided design systems. This article proposes a method for constructing a smoothly blended curve between two spline curves of arbitrary format and

Camera traps have become an increasingly popular non‐invasive alternative to animal‐attached devices for studying wildlife behaviour. This study compared wolf (Canis lupus) activity patterns derived from collar accelerometers and road‐positioned camera traps and revealed strong overall agreement but also important seasonal and diel mismatches between ...

The zeros of rational splines and complex splines
In this paper the author studies zeros of rational and complex splines. In section 1 he estimates the total number of zeros of a certain class of real analytic functions and rational splines. In section 2 he examines the problem concerning zeros of complex spline functions and obtains a sharp upper bound of the zeros of certain class of complex splines.

An algorithm for surface smoothing with rational splines [PDF]
Discussed is an algorithm for smoothing surfaces with spline functions containing tension parameters. The bivariate spline functions used are tensor products of univariate rational-spline functions.

Disc‐Toroid Hybrid Lipid Nanoparticles for Efficient Drug Encapsulation and Subcutaneous Delivery
This study demonstrates sub‐50 nm solid‐lipid nanoparticles with long‐term stability, high drug loading, and strong tissue compatibility. Disc‐toroid morphology is confirmed and may play a role in cellular interactions, while low cytotoxicity and minimal systemic permeation confirm depot‐like behavior. These nanoparticles represent a versatile platform
