Reason-Based Rationalization [PDF]
[This version of the paper has been superseded by "Reason-based choice and context-dependence: An explanatory framework", forthcoming in Economics & Philosophy.] We introduce a “reason-based” way of rationalizing an agent’s choice ...

This article presents a photo‐responsive nanoparticle platform that precisely triggers copper‐dependent cuproptotic cell death in (drug‐resistant) cancer cells. The system remains stable and inactive in the dark but releases cytotoxic species upon red‐light irradiation, achieving potent activity in drug‐resistant breast cancer cells.

Le concept de routine dans la socio-anthropologie de la vie quotidienne
The routine concerns the institutional structuring of time and personal automatisms that everyone put in place, both to protect themselves from threatening uncertainty as to avoid the weight of small permanent decisions, freeing vital energy and possible

Are rational expectations really rational? [PDF]
Abstract This article investigates whether ‘rational expectations’ are really rational, i.e. whether they maximize agents' utilities in some way. For that purpose we construct a model where each agent may have a whole array of expectations schemes, including the rational expectations one.

We synthesized a novel IrCuOx/MnO2 heterostructure co‐doped with high‐valent W and Mo atoms, achieving exceptional acidic stability and high mass activity. Owing to the synergistic effects of structural and electronic modulation, cooperative charge redistribution occurs across both the interface and the lattice.

Axiomatic rationality and ecological rationality [PDF]
AbstractAxiomatic rationality is defined in terms of conformity to abstract axioms. Savage (The foundations of statistics, Wiley, New York, 1954) limited axiomatic rationality tosmall worlds(S,C), that is, situations in which the exhaustive and mutually exclusive set of future statesSand their consequencesCare known.

DAVIDSON ON JUSTIFICATION AND RATIONALIZATION
Suele suponerse que la explicación de las acciones hace a las acciones intencionales inteligibles racionalmente a la luz de las creencias y deseos del agente. Donald Davidson comparte este supuesto.
