Clayey bauxites originally underlain by the Anisian dolomites and overlain by Middle Eocene sediments was discovered on Mt. Ravna gora in 1992. in overturned position. The bauxite is of kaolinitic- diasporic-boehmitic composition and resembles the Oligocene bauxites of Slovenia.
