Simulation of Three-dimensional Convection Patterns in a Rayleigh-Benard System Using the MPS Method
The moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method, which is a fully Lagrangian particle method, was applied to simulate the three-dimensional Rayleigh-Benard convection.

On the oscillatory behavior of transient Rayleigh Benard convection of air for 2D channel flow at moderate Rayleigh numbers [PDF]
Unsteady numerical simulation of Rayleigh Benard convection heat transfer from a 2D channel is performed. The oscillatory behavior is attributed to recirculation of ascending and descending flows towards the core of the channel producing organized rolled

Kinetic Study Of The Rayleigh-Benard Flows
The present paper employs the direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method to study the Rayleigh-Benard flows, where the temperature ratio of the upper to lower plate is fixed to 0.1.

Stabilization of Rayleigh-Benard convection by means of mode reduction
A method is developed to suppress the intensity of the Rayleigh-Benard convection by adjusting the heat flux distribution at the bottom boundary under the constraint 4 constant heat input to the system.

Effect of Modulation on Rayleigh-Benard Convection-II
The linear stability of a horizontal fluid layer, confined between two rigid walls, heated from below and cooled from above is considered. The temperature gradient between the walls consists of a steady part and a periodic part that oscillates with time. Only infinitesimal disturbances are considered.
