Wavefront sensing at a high‐repetition‐rate X‐ray free‐electron laser

We demonstrate a fast, robust and sensor‐free approach to X‐ray speckle tracking that enables shot‐to‐shot wavefront characterization at high‐repetition‐rate X‐ray free‐electron lasers. Abstract Ploem's filter cube, central to modern epifluorescence microscopy, integrates three matched optical components: an excitation filter, an emission filter, and a dichroic mirror. Measurement and modeling of diffuse ultraviolet radiation: A review

Solar UV radiation consists of direct and diffuse UV components. The diffuse component contributes to the exposure received by humans and to the risk of skin cancer and sun‐related eye disorders. Origin of Long‐Wavelength Variations in Crustal Thickness on Rocky Planets

Abstract Long‐wavelength crustal thickness variations are observed on telluric planets, particularly on Mars and the Moon whereas Mercury appears to lack such variations. They may stem from two early‐stage positive feedback mechanisms that can emerge in stagnant‐lid planets.
