Enhancement of Morpho‐Physiological, Physiological, and Antioxidant Capacity of Saffron (Crocus sativus L.) Under Water Deficit Using ZnO Nanoparticles and Magnesium Sulfate: Implications for Saffron Yield

ZnO nanoparticles and MgSO4 synergistically alleviated drought‐induced damage in saffron. Foliar application improved relative water content and antioxidant enzyme activity. Photosynthetic performance and membrane stability were enhanced under water deficit. Moderate drought combined with ZnO‐NPs and MgSO4 maximized saffron productivity. ABSTRACT Water
