Radiotherapeutic enhancement by razoxane

Cancer Treatment Reviews, 1991
Razoxane blocks cell division in the G2/M phase of the cell generation cycle and appears to normalize tumour neovasculature development. These were the principal reasons for the examination and probably for the demonstration of the radiosensitizing activity of Rz.

Razoxane regimen for the treatment of psoriasis

Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, 1982
Razoxane [ICRF 159, 1,2-bis(3,5-dioxopiperazin-I-yl) propane] is an oral antimitotic agent, which is very effective in the treatment of psoriasis (Atherton et al., 1980). Its efficacy in psoriasis is related to its effect on the increased epidermopoiesis and on the abnormal dermal microvasculature.

The sequelae of razoxane therapy

British Journal of Dermatology, 1985
Razoxane has been used in the treatment of severe psoriasis for 7 years. We have reviewed 30 of the psoriatic patients recorded by Atherton et al. (1980) 1 year after withdrawal of this drug because of reported carcinogenesis (Horton, MacDonald & Wells, 1983; Horton et al., 1983).

Razoxane penetration into the cerebrospinal fluid of rats

Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, 1982
Razoxane (100 mg/kg) was administered to rats as a single IP dose. Plasma and CSF samples were obtained at intervals varying from 15 min to 24 h after dosing, and the razoxane was assayed by a new and simple high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique. Razoxane was absorbed quickly from the peritoneal cavity; it reached a peak concentration
