ACTIVE FILTERS SYNTHESIS TO SIMULATED LADDER NETWORKS AND FEEDBACK CIRCUITS
An important feature in the design of passive and active filters networks is the method of the analysis employed. The purpose of this work is to synthesis two active low pass filters, the first is doubly terminated sixth order RLC passive ladder network

Synthetic Landau levels and spinor vortex matter on Haldane spherical surface with magnetic monopole
We present a flexible scheme to realize exact flat Landau levels on curved spherical geometry in a system of spinful cold atoms. This is achieved by Floquet engineering of a magnetic quadrupole field. We show that a synthetic monopole field in real space

When wanting to change is not enough: automatic appetitive processes moderate the effects of a brief alcohol intervention in hazardous-drinking college students. [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Research indicates that brief motivational interventions are efficacious treatments for hazardous drinking. Little is known, however, about the psychological processes that may moderate intervention success.

Abstract Genomic resources, new microsatellite markers and a novel observation of a fractal pattern in the genetic population structure are presented for curimba, Prochilodus lineatus, a freshwater migratory model species of South America. Our main goals were to investigate the presence of mixed fish stocks and the effects of damming‐induced ...

Exact ground states for a class of one-dimensional frustrated quantum spin models
We have found the exact ground state for two frustrated quantum spin-1/2 models on a linear chain. The first model describes ferromagnet- antiferromagnet transition point. The singlet state at this point has double-spiral ordering.

CDC42‐Effector Proteins Regulate Higher Order Structure of Septins Required for CNS Myelin Integrity
CDC42‐effector proteins 1/2 are present in CNS myelin. They facilitate the higher order structure of myelin septin filaments. Their loss impairs septin‐dependent scaffolding of myelin. Myelin outfoldings do not cause secondary neuropathology per se. ABSTRACT The regular structure of CNS myelin requires specialized structural proteins, including septin ...

An effective many-body theory for strongly interacting polar molecules
We derive a general effective many-body theory for bosonic polar molecules in strong interaction regime, which cannot be correctly described by previous theories within the first Born approximation.

Declines in Conifer Forest Recovery and Forest Loss From Four Decades of Wildfire in California
Abstract California's forests are increasingly being exposed to intense wildfires. Past research has tracked wildfires' impact on these natural lands, yet there remains a critical gap in tracking post‐fire vegetation recovery and its trends, particularly for the extent of different forest types.

Vortices in coupled planes with columnar disorder and bosonic ladders
We consider two coupled strongly correlated bosonic chains. We derive the phase diagram of the pure system and obtain an antisymmetric charge density wave, a 4k_F charge density wave, a superfluid phase and a second superfluid phase which is a condensate

Curbing multinational digital tax avoidance with the general anti‐avoidance rule
Abstract Large multinational companies (MNCs) are increasingly leveraging the enormous value embedded in the global digital economy. This has resulted in numerous innovations; however, it has likewise resulted in the loss of billions of dollars in tax revenue to governments due to outdated laws that generally assume a brick‐and‐mortar economy and ...
