Changing Extreme Precipitation Patterns in Nepal Over 1971–2015
Abstract This paper provides a comprehensive and comparative analysis of extreme precipitation patterns from 1971 to 2015 in Nepal, a data scarce, but “hot spot” region in global climate change. We compare in‐situ observations and gridded precipitation data from the Asian Precipitation Highly Resolved Observational Data Integration Toward Evaluation of

This study describes temperature and precipitation trends in the two highest mountain ranges on the Iberian Peninsula: the Sierra Nevada and the Pyrenees. Special focus is placed on analysing disparities between the lowlands and the highlands, as well as the agreement between observational data and grid data.

The LMDZ AGCM is used in a refined grid configuration to investigate the impact of resolution enhancement and run‐time bias correction on the simulation of the regional precipitation over Morocco. Six model simulations are compared to in‐situ observations, ERA5 reanalysis and a range of gridded observation datasets for the period 1979–2014.

Observed Global Changes in Sector‐Relevant Climate Extremes Indices—An Extension to HadEX3
Abstract Global gridded data sets of observed extremes indices underpin assessments of changes in climate extremes. However, similar efforts to enable the assessment of indices relevant to different sectors of society have been missing. Here we present a data set of sector‐specific indices, based on daily station data, that extends the HadEX3 data set ...
