Examining the Need for Dentist Impressions and Clinical Review of Stabilisation Splints

open access: yesOral Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 293-296, August 2025.
ABSTRACT Aim Due to the COVID‐19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, some of the stabilisation splints manufactured were unable to be reviewed at the post‐fit review appointment within the usual timeframe of 6–8 weeks. Secondly, there was a change from dentist‐delivered to nurse‐delivered impression clinics.

Ice Front and Mélange Dynamics at Kangerlussuaq Glacier, Eastern Greenland, Since 1981, and Future Stability

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 13, 16 July 2025.
Abstract Calving is a critical factor in the dynamics of marine‐terminating glaciers, yet its long‐term behavior remains poorly understood. Existing models calibrate calving parameters with decadal observational periods and assume they remain constant, effectively overlooking shifts in external drivers like ice mélange. We investigate calving evolution

Increased Socioeconomic Impacts With Future Intensifying Flash Droughts in China

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 13, 16 July 2025.
Abstract Amid global warming and rapid urbanization, China faces the challenge of an increasing frequency and severity of flash droughts. However, the impact of flash droughts on the socioeconomic conditions has not been sufficiently explored. Here, we elucidate the evolutionary characteristics of flash droughts in China and project future trends in ...

“Which Projections Do I Use?” Strategies for Climate Model Ensemble Subset Selection Based on Regional Stakeholder Needs

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 52, Issue 13, 16 July 2025.
Abstract Climate model (or earth system model) projections are increasingly used for climate adaptation planning and impact assessments. As part of this process, many end‐users evaluate a subset of downscaled climate projections without being aware of the implications of downscaling methodology for statistics or event outcomes.
