RC-In-RC-Out model order reduction via node merging

2016 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2016
In this paper, we introduce a method for realizable reduction of extracted RC netlists by merging nodes. This method can achieve high reduction (reaching 96%) with high accuracy and can be used to complement existing techniques of realizable reduction such as TICER [6]. The method preserves sparsity; has controllable accuracy and can result in lossless

Splitting of RC-network for accurate model reduction

Proceedings. The 16th International Conference on Microelectronics, 2004. ICM 2004., 2005
Reduction of an extracted RC-network is an important pre-processing step for techniques such as timing and crosstalk noise analysis of VLSI circuit. In a previous paper, we have described a method for reducing an RC-network to a simplified circuit.

A Method for Noise Reduction in Active-$RC$ Circuits

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2011
A method for noise reduction in active-RC circuits is introduced. It is shown that the output noise in an active-RC circuit can be considerably reduced, without disturbing the circuit transfer function by inserting appropriate passive or active components in the circuit.

DARSI: RC data reduction (VLSI simulation)

IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 1991
Taking into account RC effects in VLSI simulation and verification systems, without seriously degrading their efficiency, requires preliminary data reduction. A tool, DARSI (data reduction system for interconnects), that can handle both polysilicon and diffusion resistive effects is presented. It contains the reduction scheme described by S.-L.

RCS reduction of dihedral corners

IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1977
Corner reflectors are inadvertently formed by many surfaces on ships and military ground vehicles and can be dominant contributors to the radar cross section (RCS). The monostatic return from such structures can be reduced by ensuring that flat surfaces never meet at right angles.

A Coding Diffuse Metasurface for RCS Reduction

IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2017
In this letter, a coding diffuse metasurface for radar cross section (RCS) reduction is designed, simulated, and measured. First, two kinds of artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) unit cell are analyzed, and 5 × 5 AMC unit cells construct metamaterials block.

Conformal Metasurface for Wideband RCS Reduction

2020 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Workshop Series on Advanced Materials and Processes for RF and THz Applications (IMWS-AMP), 2020
A cylindrical conformal metasurface is introduced for wideband RCS reduction, utilizing the optimized multielement phase cancellation. The metasurface is divided into eight regions containing a total of 40 lattices that are printed on a cylindrically curved ground plane.

Broadband RCS reduction of antenna with AMC

2015 IEEE 4th Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation (APCAP), 2015
Planar periodic metallic arrays behave as artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) surfaces when placed on a grounded dielectric substrate and they introduce a zero degrees reflection phase shift to incident waves. A novel gradually concentric ring arrangement AMC (GCRA-AMC) applied to the broadband RCS reduction is presented.

RCS reduction of a composite AMC structure

IEEE iWEM2011, 2011
We studied the RCS reduction characteristics of a checkerboard structure configured with two different AMC unit cells with 180° reflection phase difference near its resonance frequency. A simple array factor formula is adopted to show the philosophy of the physical mechanism.
