Organtransplantation und Menschenwrde

Der Anaesthesist, 1994
Modern medicine has succeeded in achieving enormous technical developments. One recent highlight has been the introduction of postmortem organ transplantation. At the same time, serious objections have been raised concerning the radical changes in the cultural conception of the inviolable body.

Radiative Decay Engineering (RDE)

2007
Fluorescence experiments are typically performed in sample geometries that are large relative to the size of the fluorophores and relative to the absorption and emission wavelengths. In this arrangement the fluorophores radiate into free space. Most of our knowledge and intuition about fluorescence is derived from the spectral properties observed in ...

Distinct roles for RDE-1 and RDE-4 during RNA interference in Caenorhabditis elegans.

RNA (New York, N.Y.), 2001
RNA interference (RNAi) is a cellular defense mechanism that uses double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) as a sequence-specific trigger to guide the degradation of homologous single-stranded RNAs. RNAi is a multistep process involving several proteins and at least one type of RNA intermediate, a population of small 21-25 nt RNAs (called siRNAs) that are initially

RDE und neue Testzyklen

2018

Vision Screening with the RDE Stereotest in Pediatric Populations

Optometry and Vision Science, 1994
ABSTRACT: The usefulness of the Random Dot E (RDE) stereotest in screening the vision of school‐aged children for vision problems has been established. As a single screening procedure, the effectivity (ø) of the RDE (ø=+0.52) is greater than the widely used Snellen acuity technique (ø=+0.36) and faster to complete.

The Existence for RDE with Small Delay

2012
In this article, we prove that for the classical reaction-diffusion equations (RDE) u t – Δu = f(u(t), u(t – τ)) with a small delay, there exists a weak solution. Our method is Galerkin approximations which is one of the most important methods in proving the existence of weak solution. This method can be found in many works, for example [4].
