Development of a FHIR RDF data transformation and validation framework and its evaluation

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Informatics, 2021
Resource Description Framework (RDF) is one of the three standardized data formats in the HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) specification and is being used by healthcare and research organizations to join FHIR and non-FHIR data ...

RDF-F: RDF Datatype inFerring Framework [PDF]

open access: yesData Science and Engineering, 2018
In the context of RDF document matching/integration, the datatype information, which is related to literal objects, is an important aspect to be analyzed in order to better determine similar RDF documents.

RDF triples in XML [PDF]

open access: goldAlternate track papers & posters of the 13th international conference on World Wide Web - WWW Alt. '04, 2004
RDF/XML does not layer RDF on top of XML ina useful way. We use a simple direct representation of the RDF abstract syntax in XML. We add the ability to name graphs, noting that in practice this is already widely used. We use XSLT as a general syntactic extensibility mechanism to provide human friendly macros for our syntax.

A survey of RDF stores & SPARQL engines for querying knowledge graphs [PDF]

open access: yesThe VLDB journal, 2021
RDF has seen increased adoption in recent years, prompting the standardization of the SPARQL query language for RDF, and the development of local and distributed engines for processing SPARQL queries.

Characterization of Municipal Solid Waste and Assessment of Its Potential for Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) Valorization

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Reuse and recycling are preferred strategies in waste management to ensure the high position of waste resources in the waste management hierarchy. However, challenges are still pronounced in many developing countries, where disposal as a final solution ...

Pyrolysis and Gasification of a Real Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF): The Potential Use of the Products under a Circular Economy Vision

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
Refuse-Derived Fuels (RDFs) are segregated forms of wastes obtained by a combined mechanical–biological processing of municipal solid wastes (MSWs). The narrower characteristics, e.g., high calorific value (18–24 MJ/kg), low moisture content (3–6%) and ...

Integration of X-ray absorption fine structure databases for data-driven materials science

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials: Methods, 2023
With the aim of introducing data-driven science and establishing an infrastructure for making X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) spectra findable and reusable, we have integrated XAFS databases in Japan. This integrated database (MDR XAFS DB) enables
