Evaluation of Bio-Drying Cow Dung with Inoculation of Bacillus sp. as Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Material

open access: yesJurnal Presipitasi
Global warming, driven in part by livestock manure emissions, poses a major environmental challenge. Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) offers a waste-to-energy solution by converting solid cow manure into an energy source.

Revenue Comparison in Asymmetric Auctions with Discrete Valuations [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider an asymmetric auction setting with two bidders such that the valuation of each bidder has a binary support. We prove that in this context the second price auction yields a higher expected revenue than the first price auction for a broad set ...

Towards supporting multiple semantics of named graphs using N3 rules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Semantic Web applications often require the partitioning of triples into subgraphs, and then associating them with useful metadata (e.g., provenance). This led to the introduction of RDF datasets, with each RDF dataset comprising a default graph and zero

Solvation Structure and Dynamics of the Thiocyanate Anion in mixed N,N‐Dimethylformamide‐Water Solvents: A Molecular Dynamics Approach

open access: yesChemPhysChem, Volume 26, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
The solvation structure and dynamics of the SCN− anion in mixed N, N‐Dimethylformamide (DMF)‐water liquid solvents is investigated using classical molecular dynamics simulations. A preferential solvation of SCN− by the water molecules is observed in the first hydration shell, followed by a second shell consisting by both DMF and water molecules.

Oil price Dynamics and Speculation. A Multivariate Financial Approach [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper assesses empirically whether speculation affects oil price dynamics. The growing presence of financial operators in the oil markets has led to the diffusion of trading techniques based on extrapolative expectations.

A review on rockburst prediction and prevention to shape an ontology‐based framework for better decision‐making for underground excavations

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
A scientometric analysis of 2449 journal articles and a comprehensive review of 336 papers were conducted, discussing and identifying challenges and research gaps in rockburst prediction and prevention and proposing an ontology‐based framework for better decision‐making in underground excavations. Abstract With underground engineering projects becoming

ZnO‐Coated Silicon Oxide Nano‐Anode: Synergistic Enhancement of Cycling and Thermal Stability of Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Lithium‐ion battery anodes that maintain good performance and excellent stability under high temperature conditions. Silicon oxide (SiO) has great potential as a high‐capacity anode for lithium‐ion batteries, but its practical use is limited by excessive volume expansion (>200%) and rapid capacity fade, especially at high temperatures.
