Computational costs of numerically solving multidimensional partial differential equations (PDEs) increase significantly when the spatial dimensions of the PDEs are high, due to large number of spatial grid points. For multidimensional reaction-diffusion

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Two classes of nonlocal Evolution Equations related by a shared Traveling Wave Problem
We consider reaction-diffusion equations and Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers (KdVB) equations, i.e. scalar conservation laws with diffusive-dispersive regularization.

Simulation of reaction-diffusion processes in three dimensions using CUDA [PDF]
Numerical solution of reaction-diffusion equations in three dimensions is one of the most challenging applied mathematical problems. Since these simulations are very time consuming, any ideas and strategies aiming at the reduction of CPU time are ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Reaction diffusion equations with boundary degeneracy
In this article, we consider the reaction diffusion equation $$ \frac{\partial u}{\partial t} = \Delta A(u),\quad (x,t)\in \Omega \times (0,T), $$ with the homogeneous boundary condition.

We deal with a mathematical model for a four-component chemical reaction-diffusion process. The model is described by a system of strongly coupled reaction-diffusion equations with different diffusion rates.

On a Class of Reaction-Diffusion Equations with Aggregation
In this paper, global-in-time existence and blow-up results are shown for a reaction-diffusion equation appearing in the theory of aggregation phenomena (including chemotaxis).

Perturbative Linearization of Reaction-Diffusion Equations
We develop perturbative expansions to obtain solutions for the initial-value problems of two important reaction-diffusion systems, viz., the Fisher equation and the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau (TDGL) equation.

Effects of Biological Sex and Age on Cerebrospinal Fluid Markers—A Retrospective Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis is a key diagnostic tool for neurological diseases. To date, only a few studies have investigated in larger cohorts the effect of age and biological sex on diagnostic markers extracted from CSF. Methods For this retrospective observational study, 4163 CSF findings (2012–2020) were evaluated.
