Influence of Mn pellet preparation conditions on nitriding reaction

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2016
Nitriding reaction of Mn pellets prepared under different conditions was investigated with a self-made air-proofed nitriding system. The effects of Mn particle size, pelletizing pressure and binder content on the nitriding reaction were studied, and the ...

Optimization of Reaction Conditions in the Production of Gadolinium Diethylenetriamine Pentaacetate-Folate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A previous study has performed the laboratory-scale synthesis and characterization of Gadolinium Diethylenetriaminepentaacetate-Folate. Some parameters associated with the synthesis have been defined.

Porous silicon formation and electropolishing

open access: yes, 2001
Electrochemical etching of silicon in hydrofluoride containing electrolytes leads to pore formation for low and to electropolishing for high applied current. The transition between pore formation and polishing is accompanied by a change of the valence of

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Synthesis, Characterization and Optimum Reaction Conditions of Oligo-N-Salicylidenephenylhydrazone via Oxidative Polymerization

open access: yesJournal of the Turkish Chemical Society, Section A: Chemistry, 2018
The oxidative polycondensation reaction conditions and optimum parameters of N-salicylidenephenylhydrazone (SPH) were determined using air, H2O2 and NaOCl as oxidants at a temperature range between 50 °C and 95 °C in an aqueous alkaline medium.

Features of actomyosin superprecipitation reaction in different environment conditions

open access: yesБіологічні студії, 2014
The influence of divalent cations (Cd2+, Zn2+, Sr2+) and staphylococcus protein A on the superprecipitation reaction of cardiac muscle actomyosin was investigated using methods of preparative protein chemistry, optical spectroscopy and mechanokinetic ...

Inhibiting stearoyl‐CoA desaturase suppresses bone metastatic prostate cancer by modulating cellular stress, mTOR signaling, and DNA damage response

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Heterostructured Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction Under Alkaline Conditions

open access: yesNano-Micro Letters, 2018
The hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is a half-cell reaction in water electrolysis for producing hydrogen gas. In industrial water electrolysis, the HER is often conducted in alkaline media to achieve higher stability of the electrode materials. However,

Intermediates, Catalysts, Persistence, and Boundary Steady States [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
For dynamical systems arising from chemical reaction networks, persistence is the property that each species concentration remains positively bounded away from zero, as long as species concentrations were all positive in the beginning.
