Reaction Mechanism Optimization of Solid‐State Li–S Batteries with a PEO‐Based Electrolyte
Advanced Functional Materials, 2020The shuttle effect of long‐chain polysulfides (Li2Sn, n = 4–8) from the multistep reactions reduces the cycling life of solid‐state lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries with a poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)‐based solid polymer electrolyte (SPE).

Mechanisms of macromolecular reactions
History and Philosophy of the Life Sciences, 2022During the past two decades, philosophers of biology have increasingly turned their attention to mechanisms of biological phenomena. Through analyses of mechanistic proposals advanced by biologists, the goal of these philosophers is to understand what a mechanism is and how mechanisms explain.

Nanoscale, 2020
The oxygen evolution reaction (OER), as the anodic reaction of water electrolysis (WE), suffers greatly from low reaction kinetics and thereby hampers the large-scale application of WE.

Unraveling the Reaction Mechanism of FeS2 as a Li-ion Battery Cathode.
ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, 2020Iron pyrite (FeS2) is a promising lithium ion battery cathode material because of its low cost and ultra-high energy density (1671 Wh kg-1). However, its reaction mechanisms are still controversial.

A Complete Multisite Reaction Mechanism for Low-Temperature NH3-SCR over Cu-CHA
, 2020The dynamic character of the active centers has made it difficult to unravel the reaction path for NH3-assisted selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides over Cu-CHA.

Prenyltransferase: the mechanism of the reaction
Biochemistry, 1976The enzyme, prenyltransferase, which normally catalyzes the addition of an allylic pyrophosphate to isopentenyl pyrophosphate, has been found to catalyze the hydrolysis of its allylic substrate. The rate of this hydrolysis is markedly stimulated by inorganic pyrophosphate.
