A Query-Response Causal Analysis of Reaction Events in Biochemical Reaction Networks [PDF]
The stochastic kinetics of BRN are described by a chemical master equation (CME) and the underlying laws of mass action. The CME must be usually solved numerically by generating enough traces of random reaction events. The resulting event-time series can be evaluated statistically to identify, for example, the reaction clusters, rare reaction events ...

Modelling Chemical Reasoning to Predict Reactions [PDF]
The ability to reason beyond established knowledge allows Organic Chemists to solve synthetic problems and to invent novel transformations. Here, we propose a model which mimics chemical reasoning and formalises reaction prediction as finding missing links in a knowledge graph. We have constructed a knowledge graph containing 14.4 million molecules and

Reaction Time and Attention in Epilepsy
Reaction time, attention and impulsivity in 112 children with epilepsy (4.5-13 years) were studied using a computerized test at the Division of Neurology, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA.

Exploiting product molecule number to consider reaction rate fluctuation in elementary reactions [PDF]
In many chemical reactions, reaction rate fluctuation is inevitable. Reaction rates are different whenever chemical reaction occurs due to their dependence on the number of reaction events or the product number. As such, understanding the impact of rate fluctuation on product number counting statistics is of the utmost importance when developing a ...

Global existence and asymptotic behavior for a reaction-diffusion system with unbounded coefficients [PDF]
We consider a reaction-diffusion system which may serve as a model for a ferment catalytic reaction in chemistry. The model consists of a system of reaction diffusion equations with unbounded time dependent coefficients and different polynomial reaction terms. An exponential decay of the globally bounded solutions is proved.

On the relation of mean reaction time and intraindividual reaction time variability. [PDF]
Researchers often statistically control for means when examining individual or age-associated differences in variances, assuming that the relation between the 2 is linear and invariant within and across individuals and age groups. We tested this assumption in the domain of working memory by applying variance-heterogeneity multilevel models to reaction ...
