Sparse Linear Reactive Power Dispatch
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1985Abstract This paper presents a Linear Programming (LP) based algorithm to solve reactive power dispatch problems. Linear sensitivities are derived using the reactive power model from the fast decoupled power flow solution method. A suitable criterion is suggested to form a sparse reactive power sensitivity matrix.
