Assessing Reading Ability in Normal and Low Vision Using the Mnread Reading Acuity Chart: Preliminary Results

1997
Clinicians and vision scientists are increasingly interested in reading ability as a psychophysical measure. A new test, MNREAD reading acuity, appears to offer potential. The range of print sizes accommodate the large variation in acuities found in normal and low vision (1.3 to -0.5 LogMAR in 0.1 Log MAR steps).
