MonoSLAM: Real-Time Single Camera SLAM
We present a real-time algorithm which can recover the 3D trajectory of a monocular camera, moving rapidly through a previously unknown scene. Our system, which we dub MonoSLAM, is the first successful application of the SLAM methodology from mobile ...

Interaction extracellular vesicles (iEVs) are hybrid vesicles formed through host‐pathogen communication. They facilitate immune evasion, transfer pathogens' molecules, increase host cell uptake, and enhance virulence. This Perspective article illustrates the multifunctional roles of iEVs and highlights their emerging relevance in infection dynamics ...

Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) accounts for half of the heart failure cases. It is characterised by microvascular dysfunction, associated with reduced pericyte coverage and diminished STAT3 expression in pericytes. Loss of STAT3 impairs pericyte adhesion, promotes senescence, and activates a pro‐fibrotic gene program.

We achieved cytoplasmic delivery of non‐cell‐penetrating IgGs by grafting a single functional complementarity‐determining region 1 (CDR1) from the light chain variable region (VL) of the cell‐internalizable 3D8 antibody. The engineered IgG acquired cell‐penetrating ability while maintaining antigen affinity, highlighting CDR1 grafting as a promising ...

Smart noise jamming suppression method based on fast fractional filtering
Smart noise jamming based on digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) has both oppressive jamming effect and deceptive jamming effect, and it is difficult to be effectively suppressed by traditional anti-jamming methods.

We present a fast and accurate visual tracking algorithm based on the multi-domain convolutional neural network (MDNet). The proposed approach accelerates feature extraction procedure and learns more discriminative models for instance classification; it enhances representation quality of target and background by maintaining a high resolution feature ...

The number of circulating tumor cells obtained from prostate cancer patients was increased approximately 5‐fold compared to regular CellSearch when processing 2 mL diagnostic leukapheresis material aliquots and increased by 44‐fold when processing 20 mL DLA aliquots using the flow enrichment target capture Halbach‐array.

Real-Time Synthesis is Hard! [PDF]
We study the reactive synthesis problem (RS) for specifications given in Metric Interval Temporal Logic (MITL). RS is known to be undecidable in a very general setting, but on infinite words only; and only the very restrictive BRRS subcase is known to be decidable (see D'Souza et al. and Bouyer et al.). In this paper, we precise the decidability border

Urine is a rich source of biomarkers for cancer detection. Tumor‐derived material is released into the bloodstream and transported to the urine. Urine can easily be collected from individuals, allowing non‐invasive cancer detection. This review discusses the rationale behind urine‐based cancer detection and its potential for cancer diagnostics ...
