River Ice Analyses and Roughness Calculations Using Underwater Drones and Photogrammetric Approach
This study presents a methodology for determining hydraulic roughness (Manning's n) of fluvial ice using underwater drone and Structure from Motion (SfM) photogrammetry. The findings show that cost‐efficient equipment can be used to determine Manning's n for river ice, which supports modelling efforts, especially under intense warming in northern areas.

Uncertainty assessment for a novel optically shallow water radiometric acquisition platform
Abstract We present a novel motorized platform, a custom‐built jet‐ski designed for acoustic and radiometric measurements in optically shallow coastal waters. This platform integrates in‐water radiometers with single‐beam and multi‐beam acoustic sensors, along with a suite of active and passive instruments (conductivity‐temperature‐depth, fluorescence,

Development of a Network Real-Time Kinematic processing platform [PDF]
Single baseline “real-time kinematic” (RTK) GNSS positioning is a carrier-phase-based relative positioning technique that delivers centimetre-level accuracy in real-time. In general, this technique satisfies the GPS receiver manufacturers?

Evaluating Repeatability of RTK GPS/GLONASS Near/Under Forest Environment
Until the mid-1990s, post-processing was the only method available to determine survey- grade positions using GPS. Anew method was then introduced called Real-Time Kinematic (RTK). Real Time Kinematic surveying is an advanced form of relative GPS carrier

UAVs with RTK technology offer high-accuracy aerial mapping, with RTK Radio and RTK NTRIP as two correction methods affecting orthomosaic precision. While previous studies compared these methods in terrestrial surveys, their impact on UAV-based orthomosaics remains underexplored.

In this paper, we propose a novel Real-Time Kinematic positioning architecture with Enhanced Velocity Constraints (RTK-EVC) which is solved by factor graph optimization. The RTK procedure has been redesigned, which consists of three phases: the velocity estimation, the position estimation and the Partial Ambiguity Resolution (PAR) augmented by the Dead
