Performance of Real-Time Precise Point Positioning

open access: yesMarine Geodesy, 2013
The IGS Real-time Pilot Project (IGS-RTPP) provides real-time precise orbits and clocks, which support real-time positioning for single stations over large areas using the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) technique. This paper investigates the impact of real-time orbits, network configuration, and analysis strategies on real-time PPP implementation and ...

Performance of real-time Precise Point Positioning using IGS real-time service

GPS Solutions, 2015
Until recently, the real-time IGS precise orbit and clock corrections were only available for the predicted part of the ultra-rapid solution. Whereas the accuracy of the ultra-rapid orbit is about 5 cm, the root mean square (RMS) of the respective satellite clock corrections is, unfortunately, about 3 ns (0.9 m).

Real-Time Precise Point Positioning Using BeiDou

International Association of Geodesy Symposia, 2015
Satellite positioning is evolving rapidly, with the deployment of Galileo and BeiDou systems, in addition to the modernisation programmes for GPS and GLONASS. At the time of writing, the BeiDou constellation consists of 5 Geostationary Orbit (GEO), 5 Geosynchronous Orbit (IGSO) and 4 Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites.

Real-Time Precise Point Positioning (RT-PPP) for Positioning and Mapping

open access: yes, 2018
Real-Time Precise Point Positioning (RT-PPP) has started to develop among Global Positioning System (GPS) community due to some reasons, such as reference stations are required, very economical and easy to operate from everywhere. By using a dual-frequency receiver with the support from GPS precise products, RT-PPP has proven to give centimetre to ...

Fast Precise Point Positioning based on real-time ionospheric modelling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Summary of main results of new technique Fast Precise Point Positioning developed in the framework of the “Enhanced Precise Point Positioning (EPPP) GNSS multifrequency user algorithm” ESA funded project. -The precise ionospheric corrections facilitate the resolution of undifferenced carrier phase ambiguities, ambiguity validation and integrity ...

Design and Implementation of a Real-Time Distributed Precise Point Positioning Platform

2021
For Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data processing, voluminous real-time Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) data processing is a challenging problem. There are many methods have been proposed for regional network processing, such as parallel computing.

A Novel Real-time Precise Positioning Service System: Global Precise Point Positioning With Regional Augmentation

Journal of Global Positioning Systems, 2012
Based on precise real time orbit and clock products from a global network, the standard Precise Point Positioning (PPP) computes user states, which requires a long initialization time in order to obtain a converged solution. Conversely, the Network Real-Time Kinematic (NRTK) positioning requires additional corrections from regional or local dense ...

Real Time Satellite Clocks in Precise Point Positioning

2011
Computing a position with Single Frequency Precise Point Positioning (SF-PPP) algorithms compels to the use of satellite clock corrections, and for use with real-time applications, only a limited set of sources for orbit and clock data is available, for example the predicted Ultra Rapid products of the International GNSS Service (IGS).

Real-time clock jump compensation for precise point positioning

GPS Solutions, 2013
Over the past decades, a number of methods have been proposed to handle cycle slips in the carrier phase measurements, but few researches have investigated receiver clock jumps, which may produce undesirable effects on GPS data processing. Such events are generally ignored in double-differenced positioning. For undifferenced processing, such as precise
