The paper analyzes the exhaust emissions from farm vehicles based on research performed under field conditions (RDE) according to the NTE procedure. This analysis has shown that it is hard to meet the NTE requirements under field conditions (engine operation in the NTE zone for at least 30 seconds).

We present the first public implementation of antenna-based QCD initial- and final-state showers. The shower kernels are $2\to 3$ antenna functions, which capture not only the collinear dynamics but also the leading soft (coherent) singularities of QCD ...

Controlling the polycrystallinity of CuO nanorods enables directional reconstruction into rod‐like structures that stabilize Cu(OH)2 and increase Cu+ ratios, while modulating interfacial water dynamics to enhance C─C coupling and boost C2+ product formation in CO2 electroreduction.

Radio-Frequency-Controlled Urea Dosing for NH3-SCR Catalysts : NH3 Storage Influence to Catalyst Performance under Transient Conditions [PDF]
Current developments in exhaust gas aftertreatment led to a huge mistrust in diesel driven passenger cars due to their NOx emissions being too high. The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) with ammonia (NH3) as reducing agent is the only approach today ...

Developing robust catalysts for ammonia electrochemical oxidation (AOR) is essential for advancing NH3 utilization technologies. This review summarizes recent progress in catalyst design and mechanistic understanding of AOR. In addition, it systematically investigates strategies to improve AOR performance for various types of catalysts.

Comparison of Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS) with Laboratory Grade Equipment
Real-driving emissions (RDE) testing with portable emissions measurement systems (PEMS) during the type approval and in-service conformity of light-duty vehicles was recently introduced in the European Union legislation.

Uncontrolled atomic migration during the pyrolysis of metal‐N‐C catalysts often leads to disordered coordination environments, active site loss, and poor oxygen electrocatalytic activities. Herein, a La‐mediated atomic migration strategy enables the fabrication of a well‐defined asymmetric heterostructure (LaN/LaFe‐NC) featuring a built‐in electric ...

A sodium‐metalated, nitrogen‐rich carbon nitride (PH‐C3N5‐Na) is developed to generate solvated electrons (SEs) under visible‐light irradiation via a eutectic NaCl/LiCl molten salt‐assisted method. The in situ generated SEs drive a stepwise oxygen reduction via •O2−. Thus, an exceptional quantum efficiency of 54.4% (420 nm) is achieved.

Emission inventories and modeling requirements for the development of air quality plans. Application to Madrid (Spain) [PDF]
Modeling is an essential tool for the development of atmospheric emission abatement measures and air quality plans. Most often these plans are related to urban environments with high emission density and population exposure. However, air quality modeling
