Thermal Phase‐Modulation of Thickness‐Dependent CVD‐Grown 2D In2Se3

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A comprehensive study of CVD‐grown 2D In2Se3 reveals a distinct thickness‐dependent phase landscape and a reversible, thermally driven transformation between β″ and β* variants. In situ TEM electron diffraction and Raman spectroscopy reveal structural dynamics, while the structural invariance of the α‐phase in ultrathin regimes highlights its stability—

Nowcasting Real GDP in Samoa

open access: yesIMF Working Papers
This paper describes the recent work to strengthen the nowcasting capacity at the Central Bank of Samoa (CBS). It compiles available high-frequency datasets such as tourism receipts, agriculture market survey, remittances, among others, to nowcast real GDP in Samoa. Nowcasting enables the estimation of the present and near-term forecast.

Laser‐Based Solidification of Cermets/Cemented Carbides: Processing‐Microstructure‐Property Relationships

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Recent research on laser‐processed cermets and cemented carbides highlights significant advancements, yet a notable paucity of studies and persistent challenges remain. Efforts are increasingly focused on developing low‐cost, environmentally friendly cermets as alternatives to conventional materials.

Bayesian modelling of real GDP rate in Romania [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Methods in Social Sciences, 2015
The main objective of this study is to model and predict the real GDP rate using Bayesian approach. A Bayesian VAR (BVAR), a Bayesian linear model and switching regime Bayesian models were employed for the real GDP rate, inflation rate and interest rate.

Gut Microbiota‐Derived Anandamide Mediates the Therapeutic Effects of Urolithin A on Alcohol‐Induced Cognitive and Social Dysfunction via CB1R‐DRD2‐RAP1 Signaling Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that Urolithin A (UA) counteracts alcohol‐induced cognitive and social dysfunction (AICSD) via a gut microbiome‐dependent mechanism. UA‐enriched Bacteroids sartorii and Parabacteroids distasonis elevate anandamide (AEA), which activates the CB1R‐DRD2‐Rap1 signaling cascade to drive synaptic repair and reduce neuroinflammation ...

Analysis of the impact of macroeconomic factors on real estate prices in Bosnia And Herzegovina

open access: yesECONOMICS, 2022
Economic theory and practice are not acquainted with any unique set of macroeconomic factors that affect real estate prices. The very complexity of this phenomenon relativizes any attempt to establish an unchanged list of macroeconomic factors in BiH ...

Effectiveness of Multivitamins vs Folic Acid on Prevention of Neural Tube Defects in Mouse Genetic Models and Human Organoids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Folic acid (FA) and multivitamins/minerals (MVM) are recommended for the prevention of neural tube defects (NTDs). Using a novel human neural tube‐like organoid system and mouse models, the study compares the effectiveness of two supplements on NTDs and cellular behaviors.
